Our family (with 22-month-old girl) will be in London visiting family for the last week in May. Any suggestions for fun things to do in London with the kid? We’d also love to do some day trips by train. Thanks!

Check the following official family links – maybe they have something for you.
Many of the museums and galleries in London offer special entertainment for kids, but I don’t know if they have something fo someone that young – check out their websites, starting with the National Gallery.
I must admit that I cannot really judge on the attention span and interests of a 2 year old. I suggest: London Zoo; Natural History Museum. Also the parks or a journey to Kew Gardens; avoid Madame Tussauds!
For day-trips: anything with a beach; also the Royal Pavillion in Brighton.
