Does the City of London Police Force police the city of london area and the Metropolitan Police Force police the remaining areas in the county of London? Do they act in any different way? I mainly want to know about the area they policed and the differences between them in the nineteenth century.

Metropolitan police- Police the 32 Boroughs of Greater London
City of London Police- Police the City of London City only.
City of London Police mainly investigate Fraud throughout London while Metropolitan Police solve and prevent all other forms of crime.
