not saying nyc is bad, it has its good sides, but after a day or so its like any other city, to be honest. the amount of praise it gets is pretty stupid, in my opinion.
I’ve been there in summer ‘09 for about one week. My family and me came from Washington D.C. and after this week we drove on to Boston. I think New York is kinda nice, but not as fascinating as always told in films. We lived right in front of the Times Square, and the crowds on the street, made us really mad after some time. But it was one of the greatest feelings just to stand on Times Square and letting the lights fascinat oneself..
I live in New York, and close to the city. I’ve been to the city a lot, it is great, but can get annoying some times. Traffic, noise, and being crowded aren’t exactly my definitions of paradise, but you gotta love it, haha.
