He says when he goes to the restaurant to eat his goddamn dish of pasta he feels bad about it cause people (specially women) see him as a dramatic character and so would be disappointed to see he does not eat orchids and rose petals instead of pasta
Therefore he hides behind a screen and then when he’s done, goes where all the others are and washes his hands in a bowl with water and rose petals to satisfy his audience…
