The City of Nice is in the middle of them and is a good base. some nice 3 star hotals too. I've got the train before. Its great, efficient, quick, clean and frequent ( it can be busy though) Dont even think about getting a taxi from Cainnes to Monaco unless you have €500 each time. Good luck

Monaco is 2 hours from Cainnes by Train. The City of Nice is in the middle of them and is a good base. some nice 3 star hotals too. I’ve got the train before.
