How Long Is The Process Of London Tourist Visa?

I am applying for a tourist visa in London from the US. I am not a US passport holder so it requires me to get a visa. I wonder how long it takes since we are planning to spend our Thanksgiving in London.

Okay, so you live in the US and want to visit the UK. That’s clearer now. The US keeps track of how long it takes to apply for a US visa, but the UK does not. You need to ask the nearest UK embassy or consulate. Here is how to find them:http://www.britainusa.com/visas/index_vi…
go back to where you applied for your visa and track your visa with the number they should have given you, it usually does not take that long, how long ago have you apply for it? make sure your passport has enough validity left on it , such as 6 months? otherwise ? no travel.
There should be a way for you to track your visa application. I would call the Embassy and see how you can track/check up on the process. From my experience with visa’s, it can take months to be granted. Good luck .
